Removing the front fan

•

Requirement: open the casing (see

"Opening the casing", Page 34

).

•

Requirement: remove the front panel (see

"Removing the front panel", Page 42

).

To access the WLAN module bay, you need to remove the front fan after removing the front panel.

The front fan is secured using several locking hooks that will need to be unlocked one after the other.

Disconnect the fan cable from the mainboard.

Push the top locking hooks (a) in the direction of the arrow (1) and tilt the
front fan in the direction of the arrow (2).
