Changing the floppy disk drive

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

Ê

 

Remove the drive cage (see "Installing and removing the drive cage").

Ê

 

Turn over the drive cage and place it on a flat surface with the accessible drives facing upward.

Ê

 

Remove the screws (1).

Ê

 

Pull the drive out of the drive cage (2).

Ê

 

Take the new drive out of its packaging.

Ê

 

Slide the drive into the drive cage (1).

Ê

 

Fasten the drive into place with the screws (2).
