Fold up the lever in the direction of the arrow and secure the drive cage with the lever (3).

Make sure that the lever grips in the guide on the drive cage so that the drive cage cannot
slip off.

Disconnect the cables between the accessible drives and the mainboard:

Disconnect the cable between the floppy disk drive and the mainboard at the mainboard.

−

 

Disconnect the data cable between the CD-ROM drive and the mainboard at the
mainboard.

−

 

Disconnect the power supply cable between the CD-ROM drive and the mainboard at the
CD-ROM drive.

Remove the drive cage from the lever, hold the drive cage at an angle and fold the lever back
into its initial position (1).

Ê

 

Pull the drive cage out of the casing (3) in the direction of the arrow.
