Installing and removing a board

The number, position and arrangement of the board slots on the mainboard can be found in the
technical manual for the mainboard. Boards may already be installed when the device is shipped.

The retainers of the slot on the mainboard can differ from the one in the model described in the
following. Always make sure that the board securely engages in the retainers of the slot on the
mainboard.

Installing board with Slotfix

Ê

 

Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").

Ê

 

Press the tab of the Slotfix clip and hold it down (1).

Ê

 

Unhook the locking lug on the tab of the Slotfix clip from the eye in the casing (2).

Ê

 

Fold the Slotfix clip to the side.
