Working with the notebook
Enabling/muting loudspeakers
This key combination switches your notebook’s loudspeaker off
and on.
Fn+F3 Loudspeakers Loudspeakers
Decrease volume
This key combination reduces the volume of the integrated
loudspeakers.
Fn+F4 Volume
Volume increase
This key combination raises the volume of the integrated
loudspeakers.
Fn+F5 Volume
Enabling/disabling the touchpad
This key combination switches your notebook’s touchpad off and
on.
Fn+F6 Touchpad Touchpad
Decrease screen brightness
This key combination decreases the brightness of the screen.
Fn+F8 LCDscreen Screenbrightness
Increase screen brightness
This key combination increases the brightness of the screen.
Fn+F9 LCDscreen Screenbrightness
Toggle output screen
If an external monitor is connected, the monitor on which
the output is to be displayed can be selected with this key
combination.
You can opt to use:
• just the notebook’s LCD screen
• both the LCD screen of the notebook and the external digital
monitor with HDMI connection
• just the external digital monitor via the HDMI connection
The screen output depends on the integrated graphics controller
and on the display settings chosen in the graphics controller
software. Further display settings are possible in the graphics
provider’s software. The screen output is limited to a maximum of
two screens at the same time.

Activate power-saving mode
This key combination allows you to change the settings of the
Windows power options for the behaviour during
mains operation
or
when closing the laptop
, as described in chapter "Using the
power-management features", Page 28 .

With this key combination you can switch between several open
applications.
