5.1 Troubleshooting
If this product should fail during use, follow these instructions to troubleshoot it.
Problem
Cause
Remedy
No images
1) The cart, monitor or processor is unplugged
from the outlet.
2) The cart, monitor or processor is OFF.
1) Plug the cart, monitor or processor into the
main outlet.
2) Power ON the cart, monitor or processor.
Dark image

1) The imaging section is damaged.
2) The connection with ultrasonic endoscope
is incomplete.
3) The brightness level is set around “MIN.”
4) The iris mode is set to “PEAK.”

5) There is dirt on the light incident end face
of the LG connector.
6) There are blood clots adhering to the lens.
7) The light guide cable is broken.

appear even after resetting, turn them off,
straighten the bending section to unlock,
release the angulation knobs, and then
withdraw the ultrasonic endoscope slowly
from the patient.
2) Reconnect the ultrasonic endoscope.

3) Set the brightness level around 0.

4) Set iris mode to “AVE.”

5) Clean the light incident end face of the LG
connector.
6) Stop the procedure. Withdraw the ultrasonic
endoscope, and then clean the distal end.
7) Contact your local FUJIFILM dealer.
[Note] To reset the processor and the light source, turn them off, and wait for at least 5 seconds. Turn on the processor and
the light source again, and then light the lamp by pressing the Lamp button.
[Note] To reset the ultrasonic processor, turn it off, and wait for at least 5 seconds. Turn on the ultrasonic processor again.
[Note 1] When argon plasma coagulation (APC) is performed, some areas in the live image may become dark due to
luminous beam of argon plasma.
