ORDERING AND UPGRADE INFORMATION
As of Aug 1, 2020, all newly purchased quick-connect DTS-12 turbidity sensors (DTS-12) will
ship with the V2 DTS-12 end cap and will require V2 cables. There is no impact to previously
purchased DTS-12 turbidity sensors (DTS-12) as these can be updated with a new endcap
for use with the new cables. This product improvement is specific to the quick-connect
version of the DTS-12. A DTS-12 with a fixed cable will not be affected by this change.
B.1
Upgrade Path
Customers looking to purchase a new cable for previously purchased turbidity sensors will
require a V2 end cap and V2 quick-connect cable. Please order a cable and end cap bundle
from Table 1, row 3. FTS recommends returning the DTS-12 to our service department for
end cap installation and to ensure valid warranty coverage as per FTS Service Warranty
Terms and Conditions. If ordering a new cable length for a DTS-12 with the V2 end cap
already installed, select a part number from Table 1, row 2 (these are cable only and do not
include the end cap). It is not necessary to return DTS-12 turbidity sensors with a V2 end cap
to FTS, swapping of the cable can be done on site.
