When fastening the wire-spool carrier:
Make sure that the claws of the driver (1) engage in the wire spool correctly
Do not remove any transport braces until the spool (complete with wire-spool carrier)
has been inserted into the unreeling device
Wind adhesive tape around the guiding bushes (2) if these are sitting too loosely in the
wire spool (Fronius has no influence on the fitting accuracy of the wire spool used)
Tighten the clamping lever and set the tensioning position of the clamping lever at right
angles to the spool axle

WARNING!
Danger from elasticity of the spooled wire electrode.
Wire electrode that suddenly breaks away and lashes out can cause very serious injury to
the face and eyes.
► keep the wire end away from your face and body
► When unwinding the wire from the spool, lift the “lever + drawback pulley” unit. This
releases the wirespool brake, making the wire easy to unreel.
