4.1.2 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Starting
Press the green switch (A) to supply power to the table
(the green light comes on and the LEDs on the display
blink for a few seconds).
The display then shows the temperature inside the table.
The table is now in operation. See "setting the
temperature" for instructions for checking or modifying
the parameters set by the manufacturer.
Setting the temperature
Pressing the "SET" (2) button once, the Display shows
the operating temperature set by the manufacturer.
This temperature is show for 5 seconds. Pressing during
that period the button (8) (INCREMENT) or (4)
(DECREMENT) we can set a new temperature SET. The
system will automatically switch back to normal display
afer 5 seconds upon release of the button (8) or (4)
(INCREMENT/DECREMENT).
Temperature can be chosen within maximum and
minimum SET values, already defined as follows:
SET min SET max

Defrosting
This control automatically carries out 4 daily defrosting
cycles in the low-temperature refrigerating cupboards and
2 daily defrosting cycles in the other models.
Defrosting is inded through a temperature probe
positioned on the evaporator and in case of anomalies, a
safety timer immediately intervenes to protect the
appliance.
In particular conditions (very hot and humid weather, or
presence of foods emitting a lot of humidity) the set
cuycles cannot be sufficient to defrost the evaporator
completely, then you carry out some manual defrosting
pressing the (8) for 4 seconds.
At the end of defrosting there is a "dripping" time, with
standstill compressor, then the compressor starts, but
fans start only when the evaporator is cold.
The realisation of the manual defrost clears the interval
for the next defrost.
Note:
In cabinets with tempe2°C the defrosting-
cycle is indicated on display by "DF"
DEFROSTING OCCURS EVERY 12 HOURS ANS
LASTS 40 MINUTES.
Setting the relative humidity (U.R.)
This control is exclusively mounted in the refrigerating
cupboards (+8 to -2°C).
The relative humidity (UR%) can be regulated acting the
switch (12) in the pos. MIN or MAX.
Error messages
The thermostat provides the display of error massages
(alarms):
1. "
E1
" if the
cell sensor
has short-circuited or a
connection has broken or it is not connected, or in
case of "under range" (temperature below the lower
display limit of -55°C) or "over range" (temperature
above the upper display limit of 99°C).
2. "
E2
" indicates the same malfunctions but with regard
to the
evaporator sensor
(end of defrosting).
3. A
buzzer
also sounds to indicate an incorrect cell
temperature alarm; this is triggered when the cell
temperature (shown on the display) rises more than
10°C above or drops more than 5°C below the
SETPOINT.
E.g.:
SETPOINT
-20°C
HIGH TEMPERATURE ALARM
-10°C
LOW TEMPERATURE ALARM
-25°C
These alarms are not active:
- for 7 hours after switch-on or a power failure;
- for 2 hours after defrosting.
Press the SET key to silence the buzzer.
5. ROUTINE AND SCHEDULED SERVICING
The information in this section is intended for personnel
without special skills who are however trained;
extraordinary and/or scheduled servicing must be carried
out by skilled staff.
5.1 BASIC SAFETY REGULATIONS
Before doing any work on the appliance, always
disconnect it from the power supply socket:
1) Turn the master switch to OFF.
2) Remove the plug.
