INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Attention!
Assembly and electrical connections must be carried out by specialised personnel.

Attention!
Wear protective gloves before proceeding with the installation.

ELECTRIC CONNECTION

The appliance has been manufactured as a class II, therefore no earth cable is necessary.

The connection to the mains is carried out as follows:

BROWN =

L

 line

BLUE =

N

 neutral

If not provided, connect a plug for the electrical load indicated on the description label. Where a plug is provided, the
cooker hood must be installed in order that the plug is easily accessible.

An omnipolar switch with a minimum opening of 3mm between contacts, in line with the electrical load and local
standards, must be placed between the appliance and the network in the case of direct connection to the electrical
network.

The distance between the supporting surface of the cooking appliance on which the cooking recipients are placed
and the lower part of the kitchen hood must be a minimum of 45 cm, whether it is an electric hob, a gas hob or an
induction hob). If a connection tube composed of two parts is used, the upper part must be placed outside the lower
part. Do not connect the cooker hood exhaust to the same conductor used to circulate hot air or for evacuating fumes
from other appliances generated by other than an electrical source.

•

In the case of assembly of the appliance in the suction version prepare the hole for evacuation of the air.

We recommend the use of an air exhaust tube which has the same diameter as the air exhaust outlet hole. If a pipe
with a smaller diameter is used, the effi

ciency of the product may be reduced and its operation may become noisier.

Before proceeding with the installation, to be able to move the hood more easily, complete the following
operations:

1. Remove the anti-grease fi lterl by pulling the handle, as shown in fi gure 2 - phase 1.

2. If the product is equipped with activated charcoal

fi lters

 (

B-C

), remove them as shown in fi gure 2 - phase

2B

 or

2C

.

3. Unhook the small

cupola

M

as shown in fi gure 2 - phase 4.

FIXING TO THE WALL

 (FIG.3):

Mark the position of the lower side of the hood on the wall fi gure 3 - phase 1 (taking into account the minimum
distance required from the hob).

Position the fi xing template on the wall, making sure that the line coincides with the line previously made on the wall,
as described in the preceding section.

Mark and drill fi xing holes fi gure 3 - phase 2.

Fasten the 4 anchors and the 2 screws

A-B

without fully tightening them fi gure 3 - phase 2.

Position the appliance on the wall and permanently secure it by pulling the 2 screws

B

 fi gure 3 - phase 3-4 and the 2

locking screws

B

 fi gure 3 - phase 5.

When carrying out the fi xing operations, use only screws and screw anchors suited to the type of wall (e.g. reinforced
concrete, plasterboard etc.).

If the screws and screw anchors are supplied with the appliance, make sure that they are suited to the type of wall to
which the hood must be fi xed.
