Configuration

2.1.4  Setting the ETK Chip Select Header (W4)

Jumper header W4 specifies the ETK chip select. This chip select is connected to the 
general-purpose chip-select pin of the ETK connector. (This is pin 78 of connector J5, the 
SGCSM_b pin.) The diagram below shows the factory configuration: the jumper between W4 pins 
7 and 8 specifies chip select 4.

Alternatively, you can select chip select 1, 2, or 3 for the ETK connector by repositioning the W4 
jumper, respectively, to pins 1 and 2, 3 and 4, or 5 and 6. 

NOTES:

1. Each chip-select header, W1 through W4, must specify a different chip 
select. Do not install multiple jumpers in any of these headers.

2. Use caution about connecting anything to the ETK connector if you also 
connect your CMB2103 to an MPFB1200 platform board. Such a 
connection through the ETK interface could interfere with platform-board 
operation.
