Max Sync Rate:
The RAID subsystem supports 320 MB/sec as the highest data transfer
rate.
SCSI Channel:
Two Ultra 320 SCSI channels can be connected to the internal RAID
subsystem. Choose the SCSI Channel to connect the volume to. A Select SCSI Channel
dialog box appears, select the channel number and press <Enter>.
SCSI ID:
Each SCSI device attached to the SCSI card, as well as the card itself, must be
assigned a unique SCSI ID number. A LVD SCSI channel can connect up to 15 devices.
SCSI LUN:
Each SCSI ID can support up to 8 LUNs. Most SCSI host adapters treat each
LUN like a SCSI disk.
4. Repeat steps 1 to 3 to create additional volume sets.
5. The initialization percentage of the volume set will be displayed at the button line.
4.5.2 Delete Volume Set
To delete a Volume Set from a RAID set, click “Volume Set Functions”, and then click “Delete
Volume Set”. All of the RAID Sets will be displayed. Select the desired RAID Set, then click
“Submit” In the RAID Set, select the desired Volume Set to delete and check the “Confirm The
Operation” checkbox and click “Submit” (Figure 4-7).

4.5.3 Modify Volume Set
Use this option to modify the configuration of a volume set. Click “Volume Set Functions”, and
then click “Modify Volume Set”. All of the Volume Sets will be displayed. Select the Volume Set
you want to modify and click “Submit”. You will be presented with the current volume set
configuration (Figure 4-8). Make the desired changes, check the “Confirm The Operation”
checkbox, and click “Submit”. Any setting can be changed except for the capacity.
