3.7.4 Delete Pass-Through Disk
To delete a Pass-Through Drive from the Pass-Through Drive pool, move the cursor to the
“Physical Drive Function” menu and select the “Delete pass-through drive” item, then press
<Enter>. Select the drive to delete and press <Enter>. The Delete Pass-Through confirmation
screen will appear, select “Yes” to delete it (Figure 3-22).

3.7.5 Identify Selected Drive
In order to identify a physical drive, the selected disk HDD LED Indicator will light up when the
“Identify Selected Device” option is selected and the drive is selected.
3.8 RAID System Function
The RAID System Function option allows you to manage the settings of the freeStor Xpand
1500C unit itself.
3.8.1 Mute The Alert Beeper
The “Mute The Alert Beeper” function (Figure 3-23) is used to control the alarm on the disk array
(e.g. when a fan or power supply fails). Select “Yes” and press <Enter> in the dialog box to turn
the beeper off temporarily. The beeper will still activate on the next event.
