Viewing Current NTP Settings

To view current NTP server settings, use the

get ntp command:

get ntp

Deleting NTP Server IP Entries

To delete an NTP server IP entry, use the

unset ntp server command:

unset ntp server primary | backup1 | backup2

Example: Deleting an NTP Server Entry Using the IP Address 207.245.143.147:

unset ntp server 207.245.143.147

save

GUI Example: Deleting an NTP Server Entry Using the IP Address 207.245.143.17

Select System > Date/Time

Remove the following, then click

Apply

Primary NTP Server IP/Name: 207.245.143.147

[NOTE]

You can configure multiple NTP server IP addresses to ensure the Freedom9 appliance

always displays the correct date and time.

Configuring Manual Update Using NTP

To initiate a manual NTP update, use the

exec ntp command:

exec ntp update

Before you can manually update, you must configure the clock to use NTP, which is described in

the next section.

Maintaining Clock Settings with NTP

Use the

set clock command to ensure that the Freedom9 appliance is configured with the

correct date and time:

set clock {date [ time ] | dst-off | ntp | timezone number}

Use NTP for updates to the clock.

Example: Manually Setting the Clock Using 11/15/2007 12:00:

set clock 11/15/2007 12:00
