User Guide

Saving the Configuration File for Export

To download and save the configuration file from the tftp server, use the

save config command:

save config from tftp {

ip_addr

}

filename

to flash

GUI Example: Saving the configuration file for export

Select System > Configuration.

Click on Download Configuration.

The browser will prompt you to save the

config.dat

file.

Select the Save Configuration Button.

Example: Saving the Configuration File for Export

The following example saves the configuration file to a server at IP address

192.168.0.3 from the

eth0 interface with the filename filename.txt:

save config from tftp 192.168.0.3

filename.txt

to flash

GUI Example: Saving the configuration file for export

Select System > Configuration.

Click on Download Configuration.

Select Save as the action for the file.

Select Location - c:\temp.

Click Save.

Executing the Configuration File From the TFTP Server

To import from the tftp server and execute the configuration file, use the

exec config command:

exec config from tftp

Executing a Saved Configuration File

To execute a saved configuration file, use the

exec config saved command:

exec config saved

View the Running Configuration

To view the current running configuration stored on the flash, use the

get config command:

get config

View the Saved Configuration

To view the current saved configuration stored in the flash, use the
