C O N F I G U R I N G S E R V I C E O B J E C T S

Service objects used in policies consist of a transport protocol and an
associated port number. For example, FTP is associated with protocol
TCP and port number 21; HTTP is TCP/port 80, and SSL is TCP/port 443.
You can select service objects from a predefined list or you can create a
custom service object.

This section describes how to create, modify and delete address objects.

VIEWING PREDEFINED SERVICE OBJECTS

To view predefined service objects, use the

get service

command:

get service pre-defined

For a list of predefined services, refer to Appendix , “Pre-defined
Services.”

CONFIGURING CUSTOM SERVICE OBJECTS

Use the

command with the
