Open Services -> Mail Server and start the mail server by enabling 'Run Mail Server'.
Click 'Apply' to start the mail server. The mail server is now ready for use in the internal
network.
To receive e-mails from the outside (Internet), you have to enabled 'Open IMAP and POP3
Server for the outside'. You may now change the preset default ports. This is however
generally not required. To send e-mails to accounts outside of your network, you need
to enable 'Open SMTP Server for the outside'. You generally do not have to change the
default port (25).
Configuring an e-mail client in Outlook Express
You require an e-mail client to retrieve and read e-mails. Using the e-mail client Outlook
Express, already built-in to the Windows operating system, we will demonstrate which
changes you have to make to the configuration settings. Start Outlook Express. If you have
