This will provide you with detailed infor-
mation about the current data transfer
in the LAN and WLAN range which you
can use as an analysis tool.
3.7.1 LAN expert charts
You can use these charts to check
whether a LAN connection exists and
what data rates are transmitted incom-
ing and outgoing in the period of 5 min-
utes. The recording is performed as long
as the associated window is open only.
3.7.2 WLAN expert charts
The WLAN charts provide you with
information about the transmission qual-
ity regarding signal, noise and data rate.
3.7.3 Controlling the WLAN AP via UDP
The WLAN interface of the device can
be switched on and off via UDP com-
mand.
Enable the UDP function by entering the
desired port in the “System” (System)
menu. No port is configured in the fac-
tory settings. Afterwards, confirm the
entry by clicking the “Save & Apply”
(Speichern & Anwenden) button.
Notes:
To apply the entered UDP port,
you must reboot the WLAN AP. Click
"Reboot” (Neu Starten) and, in the win-
dow that opens, click “Reboot” (Neus-
tart durchführen). Rebooting takes
approximately one minute.
The UDP function will be available after-
wards. You can switch this off via
WLAN (smartphone) but not back on.
Please consider case-sensitivity when
making your entries. The WLAN AP
confirms a transmitted UDP command
by returning the current state.
