2. Make sure that the maintenance switches of all UPSs (including new unit) are in the same
positions (either in the positions of “UPS” or “BPS”) when the UPS parallel system is going
to be in INV mode
3. Normally, when maintenance bypass switch is open, the UPS will transfer to bypass
automatically, and the maintenance bypass switch can be operated, but for most safety,
check the status of the UPS from LED display, make sure the UPS is on bypass mode
before operate maintenance bypass.
