BASIC CONNECTION
1. ANTENNA CONNECTION
To connect the 75 OHM coaxial cable from the antenna to the RF socket on the
rear panel, as shown above.
•
For better reception, especially in outlying areas or where ghosting or
interference occurs, an external roof- mounted antenna is recommended.
•
For UHF channel reception, use the specified UHF antenna.
•
When using 300
Ω
flat cable, a 300
Ω–
75
Ω
adapter should be used for a
proper connection to RF socket. The 300
Ω–
75
Ω
adapter is not supplied.
2. POWER CONNECTION
•
Plug the power cord into an AC outlet (AC 230
–
240V ~ 50Hz)
•
Press POWER button to turn on the television, press POWER button again
to turn off the television.
Important note: Delayed picture / Sound.
This television has an automatic internal checking function. Each time power is
turned
‘
ON
’
using the main power switch or pressing the POWER button on the
remote control, it will activate this automatic checking function, which takes 5~7
seconds before the receiver displays any picture and sound.
PRESETTING THE TV CHANNEL
1. AUTO SEARCH
When the television is turned on for the first time the TV
programs need to be set. To auto tune the programs, press
MENU button repeatedly (on the front panel or on the remote
control) until the search menu is displayed on the screen:
