Pinion Spindle drive

Drive pawl

2

The drive pawl engages in the next tooth and drives the
pinion, which compensates for wear. A mechanical
freewheel locks the position of the pinion.

A redesigned dual-mass flywheel is also installed to
minimize undesired noise, vibration and harshness.
