Environmental Information
Husqvarna Outdoor Products are manufactured under
an Environmental Management System (ISO 14001)
using, where practical, components manufactured in the
most environmentally responsible manner, according to
company procedures, and with the potential for
recycling at the end of the products’ life.
• Packaging is recyclable and plastic components have
been labelled (where practical) for categorised
recycling.
• Awareness of the environment must be considered
when disposing of ‘end-of-life’ product.
• If necessary, contact your local authority for disposal
information.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging
indicates that this product may not be treated as household
waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic
equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of
correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health,
which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste
handling of this product. For more detailed information
about recycling of this product, please contact your local
council office, your household waste disposal service or the
shop where you purchased the product.

Explanation of Symbols on your product
Warning
Read the user instructions carefully to make
sure you understand all the controls and what
they do.
The use of eye protection is recommended
Do not operate in the rain or leave the
product outdoors while it is raining.
Switch off! Remove plug from Power Pack
before adjusting, cleaning or if cable is
damaged.
Keep bystanders away.
General
1. Never allow children or people unfamiliar with these
instructions to use the product. Local regulations may
restrict the age of the operator.
2. Only use the product in the manner and for the
functions described in these instructions.
3. Never operate the product when you are tired, ill or under
the influence of alcohol, drugs or medicine.
4. The operator or user is responsible for accidents or
hazards occurring to other people or their property.
5. Keep bystanders away. Do not operate whilst people,
especially children or pets are in the area.
Battery
Cordless Battery Powered Products require special care.
1. AVOID ACCIDENTAL STARTING KEEP HANDS AND
FINGERS AWAY FROM THE SWITCH LEVER
WHILE CARRYING THE PRODUCT.
2. Do not attempt to repair the unit including the battery.
3. Do not insert any object into the motor area. Keep
free of debris to avoid overheating.
Preparation
1. While using your product always wear substantial
footwear and long trousers.
2. Before using the machine and after any impact, check
for signs of wear or damage and repair as necessary.
3. To prevent dust irritation, the wearing of a face
mask is recommended.
4. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery that can be
drawn into the air inlet.
5. Do not wear clothing with attachments, i.e. toggles
or drawstrings that can be drawn into the air inlet.
6. Do not use if any part is damaged or broken or if
any of the screws are loose. Have it repaired by an
authorised repairer.
Use
1. Use the product only in daylight or good artificial light.
2. Do not use the Sabre Blow when it is raining or in
damp and wet areas.
3. Never use the Sabre Blow in or near water or ponds.
4.
Know how to stop the Sabre Blow quickly in an emergency.
5. Take care in wet grass, you may lose your footing.
6. On slopes, be extra careful of your footing and wear
non-slip footwear.
7. Do not walk backwards whilst operating your
product, you could trip. Walk, never run.
8. Keep children, pets and bystanders at a safe
distance when using your Sabre Blow.
9. Keep long hair away from air inlet.
10. Keep all inlets clear of debris.
11. Always remain alert.
12. Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders.
13. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance
at all times.
14. If you hit an object, do not use your product until
you are sure that the entire product is in a safe
operating condition
15. If the product starts to vibrate abnormally, check
immediately. Excessive vibration can cause injury.
Maintenance and storage
1. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the
product is in safe working condition.
2. Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
3. Only use replacement parts and accessories
recommended by Husqvarna Outdoor Products.
4. Clean unit with a dry cloth. Never use metal objects
to clean the unit.
5. Any repairs must be carried out by an authorised repairer.
