2. OPERATIONAL
2.1. GENERAL
The F132-P may only be operated by personnel who are authorized and trained by the
operator of the facility. All instructions in this manual are to be observed.
Take careful notice of the "Safety rules, instructions and precautionary measures" in
the front of this manual.
This chapter describes the daily use of the F132-P. This instruction is meant for users / operators.
2.2. CONTROL
PANEL
The following keys are available:

Functions of the keys
This key is used to enter a batch quantity during operation of the F132-P.
It is also used to gain access to SETUP-level; please read chapter 3.
This key is used to
START
the batch process.
The arrow-key
▲
is used to increase a value after
PROG
has been pressed
or to select a configuration mode; For configuration details please read chapter 3.
When in
RUN
press
STOP
once to pause the batch process. When pressed twice,
the batch will be aborted and cannot be continued.
The
arrow-key

is used to display the total, accumulated total and batch counter
as well as a menu option to print a batch receipt.
After
PROG
has been pressed, the arrow-key
►
is used to select a value.
2.3.
OPERATOR INFORMATION AND FUNCTIONS
In general, the F132-P will function at Operator level. The information displayed depends upon the
SETUP-settings. All pulses generated by the connected flowmeter are measured by the F132-P in
the background, whichever screen refresh rate setting is chosen. After pressing a key, the display
will be updated quickly during a 30 second period, after which it will slow-down again.
If you start a procedure but do not finish it, or you don’t touch a key for 20 seconds, the F132-P will
automatically return to Operator level without making changes.
To enter a batch quantity
To change the PRESET-value, act as follows:
1)
When
READY
is displayed press
PROG
briefly: the
PROGRAM
indicator starts flashing
2)
use
►
to select the digits and
▲
to increase that value,
3)
set the new PRESET-value by
briefly
pressing
ENTER
.
(Pressing
ENTER
for 3 seconds or more will cancel your settings: the former value
will then be reinstated.)
