Hazardous fluid residues may harm the environment.
Handle hazardous fluid residues with care.
Temporarily place the Argus Ball Valve in the half-open position to let hazardous fluid
residues escape.
Use a vessel to collect any hazardous fluid residues and properly dispose of them.
Commissioning/Decommissioning and Disassembly
Risk of injury due to improper commissioning/decommissioning!
Improper commissioning/decommissioning may cause severe injury or death.
Only deploy qualified personnel with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
and suitable work tools. See Section 2.2 to 2.4.
Ensure that unauthorized persons do not have any access to the Argus Ball Valve.
Risk of property damage due to improper installation works!
An improper commissioning/decommissioning may cause property damage.

Flushing poses a risk of property damage!
Pressure from flushing may damage the sealing elements.
Operate the Argus Ball Valve in the fully open or fully closed (90°) position.
After flushing, check the tightness of the flange connections.
If necessary, retighten the screws of the flange connection.
