Instructions

Suspending Drug Therapy - Pump Rinse

10.   Repeat 

Steps 4 through 9 for the second pump rinse.

11.  After the second rinse, repeat 

Steps 6 and 7 to refill the pump reservoir with 20 mL sterile saline 

solution.

12.  When the pump refill is completed, clamp the extension tubing and remove the needle from the refill 

septum. Discard the tubing, syringe and the needle.

13. Program the refill using the Prometra

®

 Pump Programmer.
