Operating the tool always wear protective clothing, gloves, protective shoes and goggles, protecting the operator from mechanical
dangers. During work use individual heating protection means.
Do not use the hedge trimmer under Bad visibility conditions or in darkness.
Do not activate the hedge trimmer, if the hands and legs of the operator are in direct proximity of the knives of the tool.
During breaks or after work always unplug the tool. Do not ever leave the tool unattended by an adult.
If during work the operation of the tool seems unusual (increased vibration, noise, odour, etc.), it must be unplugged immediately
and sent to a repair workshop.
If the trimmer is damaged during work, the tool must be unplugged immediately and sent to a repair workshop. Maintenance
actions must be realised regularly and the tool must be kept clean. Use only original spare parts for the purpose of repairs and
maintenance.
The ventilation slots must be always clean.
Maintain a safe distance between the body and the blades of the tool. Do not remove cut material while the blades are in
movement. Make sure the switch is in OFF position, before you proceed to remove the remains of twigs which seized the
blades.
Even a moment of inattention during work with the hedge trimmer may lead to serious injuries.
Carry the hedge holding it by its handle and when the blades have stopped. Always install the guard of the blades during
transport or storage of the hedge trimmer.
Correct carrying of the hedge trimmer reduces the probability of injuries.
Keep the power supply cord away from the cutting blades.
During work the power supply cord may be hidden among twigs,
and therefore there is a risk of its accidental cutting.
PREPARATION FOR WORK
Before you proceed to operate the tool, make sure the housing and the power supply cord with the plug and the outdoor extension
cords are not damaged. If necessary, clean the tool of any dirt and clean the ventilation slots of the motor. In case any damage
has been detected, it is prohibited to continue working!
Attention!
Any actions related to replacement of working tools, installation of guards and guides, adjustments, etc. must be
realised with the power supply voltage off, so before such actions may commence:
Unplug the tool!
Before each use of the tool, make sure the mechanical guards are safely installed and tighten all the loose bolts and screws, if
necessary. Do not operate the tool, if the guards are not installed.
Before you proceed to operate the tool, make sure there are no foreign bodies in the hedge, which might damage the hedge
trimmer, for example wires.
Extension cords
Extension cords must be adapted for outdoor use.
Furthermore the extension cords must comply with the following requirements:
- for extension cables whose length is lower than 25 m – the cross section surface of the cable must be at least 1.0 mm
2
- for extension cables whose length exceeds 25 m – the cross section surface of the cable must be at least 1.5 mm

Unplugging the tool
Before using the tool, make sure the parameters of the mains comply with the data indicated on the rating plate. Then see whether
the extension cord, the power outlet and the plugs of the extension cord and the tool are in good technical conditions. In case any
damage has been detected, it is prohibited to proceed to work.
Unplug the extension cord.
Insert the plug of the tool to the socket of the extension cord.
Insert the plug of the extension cord to the mains outlet.
Once work has been concluded disconnect the extension cord from the mains.
OPERATION OF THE TOOL
Tuning on and off
Once all the actions indicated in „Preparation for work” of this operating instructions have been realised, you may start the motor.
In order to do so:
Make sure the surface at the place of work is even and stable.
Outline a safety zone (with a radius exceeding five metres from the place of operation of the tool), into which solely the operator
is allowed, while bystanders and animals are denied access.
Adopt a reliable and stable position.
Before the tool is turned on, make sure the hands and legs of the operator are not within the reach of the cutting elements.
Take hold of the additional handle of the tool and its back grip. Do not support the knives of the tool against any object. Maintain
the tool with both hands during work. Do not lift the hedge trimmer above the arm level.
Press the switch, the lock button and the handle button simultaneously. Check if the motor turns off, if any of the buttons is
