Connecting An External Monitor

(M4400 Series)

The DVR includes 2 HDMI ports and a VGA port. HDMI1 and VGA are the primary video
outputs. HDMI2 is a spot output. HDMI2 shows a customizable split screen or sequence
display, and does not show the menus or mouse.

A BNC Video OUT is available to connect the DVR to an external monitor or TV. The BNC
output shows a duplication of the live display.

Customizing the Margins for BNC Video OUT

If you are using the BNC Video OUT, you can control the margins.

To control the margins:

1. Right-click and select

Main Menu

2. Log in using the admin account (default User Name:

Settings>Display>TV Adjust

4. Configure the margin settings and brightness.
