The amber POWER ON LED is continuously lit.
The green RUN LED flashes during initialization
after power application or while the host computer is
scanning the multiplexer.
The red FAULT LED lights momentarily during
initialization and when a fault is detected.
After power application and on command from the
host computer, the HART interchange multiplexer per-
forms a self-test. After the test is complete, the config-
uration of the lights will indicate if a fault exists:
None of the LEDs lit indicates no power or low
voltage
If all LEDs flash in sequence, the HART inter-
change multiplexer is in test mode. To remove the unit
from test mode:
c. Move DIP switch eight to the off position.
d. Remove power from the multiplexer.
e. Re-apply power to the multiplexer
All three LEDs flashing together indicate a seri-
ous fault. Return the unit for service.
All three LEDs lit continuously indicates a serious
fault. Return the unit for service.
