1. Check that the main switch (1) is on, if not, press it.
2. Check that the plug (2) on the power cable (3) has been inserted
into the mains socket (4).
3. Make sure that the electrical specifications of the appliance
correspond to the electrical specifications of the power supply
network, check the technical information on the serial number
plate.
If dust emerges while you are using the appliance, check the
following:
1. Check that the vacuum hose is connected correctly to the
connection on the front of the appliance, if it is disconnected,
connect it correctly.
2. Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the
accessory that is being used, if it is disconnected, connect it
correctly.
If the vacuum controller indicator light comes on when working,
proceed as follows:
1. Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum hose, if there
is, remove it.
2. Check that the collection bag is not full, read the section
“ REPLACING THE FILTER – COLLECTION BAG ”.
If the vacuum capacity is insufficient, proceed as follows:
1. Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the
accessory that is being used, if it is disconnected, connect it
correctly.
2. Check that the vacuum hose is connected properly to the
accessory that is being used, if it is disconnected, connect it
correctly.
3. Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum hose, if there
is, remove it.
4. Check that there is nothing obstructing the vacuum chamber of
the accessory being used, if there is, remove it.
5. Check that the collection bag is not full, read the section
“ REPLACING THE FILTER – COLLECTION BAG ”.

4. Check that the power cable is not damaged, and if it is replace it
(read the section “ REPLACING THE POWER CABLE ”).
ATTENTION: If all these procedures do not solve the
problem, contact the technician at the dedicated Technical
Service Centre.
3. Check that the filter - collection bag is inserted properly, if it is not
positioned correctly fix it to the connection on the tank (read the
section“ INSERTING THE FILTER - COLLECTION BAG ”).
4. Check that the collection tank lid is properly positioned.

problem, contact the technician at the dedicated Technical
Service Centre.

the section “ AIR INTAKE FILTER MAINTENANCE ”.

7. Check that the exhaust air filter is not dirty or damaged, read the
section “ EXHAUST AIR FILTER MAINTENANCE ”.
8. Check that the collection tank lid is properly positioned.
ATTENTION: If all these procedures do not solve the
problem, contact the technician at the dedicated Technical
Service Centre.
TROUBLESHOOTING
To dispose of the appliance, take it to a demolition centre or an
authorised collection centre.
Before scrapping the machine, it is necessary to remove and
separate out the following materials, then send them to the
appropriate collection centres in accordance with the environmental
hygiene regulations currently in force:
• Felt
• Electric and electronic parts*
• Plastic parts
• Metallic parts
(*) In particular, contact your local distributor when scrapping electric
and electronic parts.
