Adjusting the Brush Base
1. Lower the brush base.
2. Loosen the
two M8 nuts
and slide the screws in the
slots so that the brush, when it starts to touch the
floor at the rear, is 4-5 mm higher at the front.
3. Tighten the nuts.
4. Use the specified
M8 screws
on both sides to adjust
brush height in the lifted position. Note that
tightening the screw increases the distance from the
floor.
5. These screws adjust planarity between brushes and
floor even when working on uneven ground.
6. In order to more easily remove the base (from the
left side of the machine and without brush) first
completely hook up the
pedal
excluding the gas
spring (you will have maximum pressure on the
floor, 45 Kg., as against the standard 30 Kg.
pressure when the spring is in action).
7. Adjust the bars of the
upper microswitches
, so
that the brush starts to move when one of the
traction levers is actuated (parallel connection).
