4. Check that, when pushing the traction levers forward
at the end of the slot
that they slide in, the
clutches are closed and remain
2-3mm
between the
screw head and the washer before the machine starts
to move. Restore a proper position if this is not the
case.
5. Turn the machine on and check that the traction
system lever position and action are the same on the
left side as on the right.
6. Tighten the nuts.
Brake adjustment
1. Check that the traction wheels are locked when the
machine is in rest and when the traction levers are
lightly activated (
lower levers of gear control
in
axis with
upper levers of gear control
that have to
go on the
welded plaque
and the pressed spring),
the wheels are free.
2. In case of regulation, act on brake levers
adjuster
,
checking that the distance between the levers handle
and the backrest is about 480 mm.
3. Pay attention that also the traction levers move
towards the operator during the regulation.
Warning : check the position of the traction levers and
the braking power at regular intervals and adjust as
necessary directly on the
lock nuts
indicated.
