Adjusting the traction system
1. Loosen the lock nut and use the
screw
that is
indicated to restore correct drive belt tension so that
the spring, when compressed, is about
25-27 mm
long.
2. Adjust correct chain tension using the chain
stretcher:
Unscrew the lock nut;
tighten the
M8 screw
as necessary, making sure the
traction system does not crawl because this is too
tight;
repeat the operation on the other side, checking they
have the same tension;
tighten the lock nut.
Adjusting the traction levers
1. Remove the metal guard positioned on the footrest
platform.
2. Check if the spring which operates on the friction
discs has a compression of
25 mm
. If necessary
unscrew the lock nuts
M12
for adjustment of the
spring lengths, which make the operators action on
the levers more homogeneous and moderate (carry
out the adjustment also according to the wear of the
brake discs and the friction discs).
3. Check that the distance between the nut center
spring adjuster and the front part of the machine,
otherwise act on the two
upper tie rods
.
