Relay Connection

The 10-2256 provides one relay output. You can connect the relay in normally open or normally
closed configurations or both. The relay contacts are rated at 1 A, 24 VDC/24 VAC. See Figure
3.6-A for relay contact connections.

The relay can be used for either of the following:

•

To activate for any alarm.

•

To activate for system trouble conditions, loss of AC power, failure of the 10-2256 to
communicate, and phone line troubles.
