When you open the rear door with the
luggage compartment light switch in the
“ON” position (

), the light comes on and

remains on as long as you keep the rear
door open.

When the luggage compartment light
switch is in the “OFF” position (

light remains off regardless of whether the
rear door is opened or closed.

IMPORTANT Do not leave the rear door
open with the luggage compartment light

time, or the battery will discharge.
