Figure 6: Recommended Field Wiring Termination
AC Power Connection
AC power is connected to the EX 200™ control panel using terminals 1, 2, and 3 located
just right of the transformer as shown in Figures 2. Prior to applying power, be certain
that the proper connector plug (J1) has been inserted into the PCB so that it matches the
supply voltage. The plug is to be inserted in the plug receptacle labeled J1 on the PCB
located just left of the circuit breaker as shown in Figure 2.
CAUTION
Make sure that the J1 plug installed matches the voltage
of the power source. If the 115V connector is installed and 230V
is applied to the control panel, the PCB will be destroyed.
Connect single phase AC power to the control panel using 12 AWG or 14 AWG (or other
as required by code) two-conductor plus ground wire. Wire the hot lead to terminal 1,
the common to terminal 2 and the ground to terminal 3. Be sure not to disconnect the
factory installed green ground wire connecting the enclosure chassis.
AC power will be connected to the control panel when the control panel circuit breaker
plunger is pressed. AC power is removed when the circuit breaker plunger is pulled.
