SYSTEM FUNCTIONS
This wireless bi-directional system has been primarily designed for the regulation of heating. The
control unit fulfils the function of a wireless room thermostat. It controls the source of heat (e.g. a
heating panel) according to the temperature in the reference room in which it is placed, and
regulates the whole heating system according to the set programme. It can control up to 255
switching elements from one location. The control unit sends information about the required
temperature to the individual elements, and based on this information, each element then
controls the heating appliance to which it is connected.
BPT-SP switches the elements on one after the other (after approximately 1s), which
prevents a current surge in the network!
SYSTEM ELEMENTS
BPT-SP wireless control unit
- is the brain of the whole system and ensures bi-directional
communication among the individual elements
- measures the ambient room temperature and controls the heating of
the relevant rooms
- functions as a room thermostat
- checks the current status of activated elements of the system
- only needs a GST1 module to be connected for control via a mobile
phone (pages 10, 13, 14)
SP1 wireless receiver – concealed
- switches on the heating appliance based on received information
about the current and required temperature from the control unit
- sends back confirmation of the executed change
- is easily installed into the wiring box.
- indicates the status of the receiver via LED diodes on the front panel
- activates itself into the system automatically after a short-term power
outage (E-EPROM memory)
SP2 wireless receiver – wall-mounted
- switches on the heating appliance based on received information
about the current and required temperature from the control unit
- sends back confirmation of the executed change
- is simply installed on the wiring box.
- indicates the status of the receiver via LED diodes on the front panel
- activates itself into the system automatically after a short-term power
outage (E-EPROM memory)
SP3 wireless receiver – plugs into electric sockets
- switches on the heating appliance based on received information
about the current and required temperature from the control unit
- sends back confirmation of the executed change
- is easily installed directly into an electric socket
- connects the heating appliance to the mains via the receiver’s own
socket (suitable for heaters which have a plug)
- indicates the status of the receiver via LED diodes on the front panel
- activates itself into the system automatically after a short-term power
outage (E-EPROM memory)
