Over time, the capacity of the battery 09 will decrease.
When it reaches half its original autonomy, it must be
replaced.
•
The charge area must be equipped with an extinguisher
for fire involving electrical equipment which is in
working order.
•
The charger must be connected to a power source
which complies with the standard EN60204.1.
•
In the framework of shipping the complete FELCO 880
POWERPACK, or only the battery(ies) 09: follow the
applicable standards. Battery 09 is a product classified
as per UN 3481, class 9 packaging group II. Packing
Instructions 967.
SAFETY MEASURES RELATED TO THE USE OF
THE TOOL
•
Verify that switch 07 located on the remote control
housing 06 is set to position "OFF" before
disconnecting battery 09 from the control housing 04.
•
Disconnect the power cord 02 of the tool prior to any
intervention to it.
•
It is strictly forbidden to open control housing 04.
•
Keep POWERPACK FELCO 880 out of reach of
children.
•
When a tool is not used, systematically set switch 07,
located on the remote housing 06 to the "OFF" position,
in order to prevent bodily injuries and the deep
discharge of the battery 09.
•
Using a battery 09 other than the one provided by
FELCO SA is forbidden and dangerous (risk of serious
injury). In this case, FELCO SA is relieved from full
responsibility.
•
Do not use POWERPACK FELCO 880 and its contents
for any purpose other than the originally intended
(exclusive use with an electro portable FELCO tool (see
table A on page 4).
•
Do not use POWERPACK FELCO 880 and its contents,
if their appearance is abnormal (deformation, abnormal
odor, smoke...). Any fumes may cause temporary
inconvenience the people who inhale them.
•
Never store battery 09 with a capacity less than 50%.
Recharge it prior to storage, in case the value is less
than 50%. To check the charging status of the
battery 09, connect the battery 09 to the control
housing 04, set switch 07 to "ON" and visualize the
charging status on the display 08 of the remote
housing 06. More than 5 illuminated bars indicate that
battery 09 is charged to more than 50%.
•
In case of suspicious smoke place the battery 09 and/or
the charger 11 outside the charging area, or the
transport vehicle, as far as possible from any
combustible material.
•
Battery 09 must be protected from impacts and must be
positioned and clamped during transportation.
•
FELCO 880 POWERPACK should not be used by
people with pacemakers without medical authorization.
