FCI  WARRANTY for Home Appliances

Duration of warranty:

FCI

grants for Canada and the U.S.A. a 24 months full warranty from the date of purchase as indicated on the

invoice to the end user. During this period

FCI

will pay the cost for replaced parts and labor needed to repair the

appliance.

For proof of warranty, please retain the original purchase invoice and the delivery slip.

In the U.S.A., an additional unique provision of

FCI

applies. This provision states if any technical failure occurs

after the two-year warranty period, beginning with the first day of month 25 until the last day of month 36 after the
purchase date,

FCI

will pay the customer directly an amount of $ 50.00 helping defray any service cost as result

of a technical failure. This service contribution is limited to only one claim per customer in the third year after the
date of purchase. To be eligible for this contribution, the customer must fill out the “Warranty Contribution
Coupon” completely and mail the coupon to the address given together with a copy of the original purchase
invoice and the service repair slip. The “Warranty Contribution Coupon” is included in the Users Manual within the
original packaging of the appliance.
This 3rd year warranty provision does not apply to

FCI

  products sold in Canada.

Under the terms of this warranty, service must only be provided by an authorized

FCI

  agent.

Coverage:

Read the Use and Care Manual before using the appliance for the first time!
This warranty applies to

FCI

appliances only for residential use. Our appliances are not intended for commercial

use. This warranty is only valid for the original owner and is not transferable.
During the warranty time

FCI

will, at its discretion, repair or exchange the product without charge for parts and

labor.

The warranty does not cover :

1.  Damage to the appliance caused on purpose or by accident
2.  Improper installation or wrong connection to the power supply
3.  If the appliance has been modified
4.  Malfunctions due to improper use or operating under professional conditions
5.  Lightning, fire or flood damages
6.  Acts of God
7.  If any attachment or parts has been applied to the appliance other than original provided by

FCI

8.  Service calls for instruction on how to use the appliance
9.  Calls to replace fuses or to reset circuit breakers
10.  Breakage of the ceramic glass surfaces on electric cook tops
11.  Cosmetic claims such as scratches on stainless steel parts are under a limited warranty only, and must be

claimed within 2 weeks after the date of purchase.

12.  The warranty in the State of Alaska is limited. Transport cost to the service agency or travel cost for the

service technician to visit must be paid by the product owner.

This warranty covers only the appliance and its components. Damage of any items in direct contact or placed
near to the appliance are generally excluded from the warranty. Charges from any third parties other than

FCI

authorized service agencies will not be accepted.
Should the appliance prove defective in workmanship or material, the end user shall be granted repair or
replacement only. Under no circumstances shall

FCI

be liable for any loss or damage, whether it be direct,

consequential, or incidental, arising out of the use or incorrect use of the appliance.
In order to obtain warranty rights, the original invoice must be provided to the service agent to verify the date
of purchase.
Some states do not allow limitations of incidental or consequential damages, therefore the above named
limitations or exclusions may not apply.

In case of technical claims and to order service support please contact first the dealer where the FCI
appliance was purchased!
