CALIBRATION OF THE 1ST STAGE
Remove the modulation link 10-11, ignite the burner and calibrate the 1st stage GAS flow (usually half of the 2nd stage
flow).
By using the exhaust gas analyser calibrate the 1st stage air flow by acting on the head
adjustment and on the cam (III).
N.B.
By moving the cam (III) towards lower values the air shutter automatically closes, whereas by moving the cam towards
higher values the air shutter motor remains idle: to obtain the movement insert the link 10-11 and then remove it.
CALIBRATION OF THE 2ND STAGE
By inserting the link 10-11 (or the relevant modulation remote control) the burner goes into the
2nd stage: the air shutter motor opens at the value shown on the cam (I) and by means of the cam (IV) gives the consent
to the opening of the 2nd stage valve. Therefore execute the calibrations of the 2nd stage GAS flow and of the relevant
air [(see the cam (I)] in order to optimize the combustion in function of the exhaust gas analysis.
N.B.
By moving the cam (I) towards higher values the air shutter automatically opens, whereas by moving the cam towards
lower values the air shutter motor remains idle: to obtain the movement remove the link 10-11 and then insert it.
CONSENT V2 (2ND STAGE GAS VALVE)
The cam (IV) will have to have the contact open when the burner is in the 1st stage and close such contact at about
half of the stroke of the 2nd stage.
GAS TRAIN CALIBRATION
GAS TRAIN CALIBRATION - DUNGS MODEL
Example:
- 1ST STAGE calibration: 10° cam (III)
- 2ND STAGE calibration: 30° cam (I)
- Consent V2 calibration: 20° cam (IV)
- Closed calibration: 0° cam (II)
By removing the 2nd stage modulationg control the servomotor will have to close the air to the value of
the 1st stage and the cam (IV) will have to remove tension to the valve V2.
In this way there is the assurance that the valve of the 2nd stage gets opened only if the air shutter opens:
if the servomotor fails the burner remains in the 1st stage.

8) To adjust it is necessary to remove the cover from the upper
