Manufacturer's part number
Each of the assemblies, sub-assemblies and detail parts, illustrated of not, is assigned a
manufacturer's part number.

Nomenclature
The nomenclature is indented to show the relation ship between the parts listed, as follows :

This vendor code or the abbreviation "NP" (non procurable) is placed at the extreme right-hand
side of the 1st line of the nomenclature.

Effectivity (usage code)
An alphanumeric usage code indicates the applicability of sub-assemblies and detail parts to the
next higher assembly(ies) or subassembly(ies).
When the applicability is general the "Usage Code" column is left blank.
The usage code corresponds to the figure/item number of the next higher assembly(ies) or sub-
assembly(ies). e.g., effectivity IA, 1B, 1C is written 1ABC.
