Set the "DEBIT-FLOW/T-Q.REST/PRESET" switch to "DEBIT-FLOW".

Check that LF generator G1 is off.

The RH and LH indicators must display 000.

Turn the brightness adjustment knob fully clockwise.

Check that current consumption does not exceed 320 mA, with 28 V applied.

Check that the brightness of LH and RH displays varies according to the position of the
"TEST - DIM" brightness control knob. Turning the knob clockwise increases the
brightness.

Check that LF generator G1 is off.

Depress the brightness control knob (also used as a test button) and check that the LH and
RH displays read "888" and the spare indicator light is on.

On flowmeter 744-082 only :

Open switch I

Ground connector pin R for the test.

Depress the test button (brightness control knob) and check that both displays go out
and the spare indicator light flashes (this corresponds to the internal battery test).
