2 • Clamping the wheel to the self-centering spindle-Pneumatic Lock (Fig. 15a)
- Fit the clamping device into the drop centre of the wheel (A).
NOTE: The locking pin must be inserted till the end of its possible stroke, avoiding any contact between
cone (2) and rim (1). An incorrect pin positioning could cause breakages or machine malfunctions.
- Manually move the centering cone towards the rim by operating on the retainers 3 (B).
- Press the pedal 16 to pneumatically lock the wheel on the self-centering spindle (C).
3 • Tyre deflation (fig. 16)
- Operate on the valve to fully deflate the tyre.
