MAINTENANCE
The machine does not require particular maintenance operations.
The technical solutions, the materials used and the protective paints were
designed to reduce maintenance intervention.
However, you are advised to carry out a set of operations sub-divided between
Ordinary Maintenance and Extraordinary Maintenance with the purpose of
guaranteeing safety, reliability and the efficiency of the machine over time.
ORDINARY MAINTENANCE:
To carry out daily when work finishes:
a. Clean the surface and the support arms.
b. Check the status of the mains supply cable that it has no cuts or abrasions.
c. Check the reliability of the protection devices on the electrical system used.
Periodically carry out the following controls (every 3 months):
1 Check the electrical system is safe: cable insulation, functionality of the
device, differential protection and protection conductor continuity.
2) Check the locks on the various mechanical parts.

– Control cable
Inspect the control cable, checking there is no unthreading or corrosion, on the
contrary, replace.

– Micro positioning – Ref. Figure 4
The control micro-switch must be at the centre of the cam. Use the terminal to
correct any movements from this position.

– Oil control
Change the oil in the control unit every 100 working hours. Change the oil with
the arms lowered. Bleed the air and check the level after two or three strokes.

– Chain control (Ref. no.78 page 24)
Grease the chain with lubricant oil through the slits, to avoid anomalous wear.
On a weekly basis, check the range between the chain parts and its
lengthening. Immediately replace the chain if such events occur. If you replace
a chain the other one has to be replaced too.
