FARO Laser Scanner Photon – User’s Manual

Scan Area

- Specification of the scan area and scan resolution.

Storage

- Naming convention and storage for scans.

Operation

- Details about the scan project can be saved together with the

scans.

Operator

- Allows assigning an operator to the scan.

Scanner Info

- Naming of the scanner and information about the scanner.

Scanner Settings

- Adjustments made by the manufacturer.

Prepaid Account

- If you connect to a prepaid scanner, you can check the

details of the scanner's prepaid account.

Camera

- Parameters for the camera of the FARO color option can be

adjusted.

Get

- Updates the values of the scanner parameter window by getting the

actual values from the scanner.

Apply

- Sends the values specified in the scanner parameter dialog to the

scanner. The scanner checks, if the parameter values given are applicable.
If the parameters are OK, a status message will be displayed
(

If not, the scanner changes the parameters according to the limits of the
hardware before setting them. A notice will be displayed in this case.
