ATTACH TIE BAR TO THE ASSEMBLED FRONT AXLE
Socket and Ratchet Set
Straight Screwdriver
Tie Bar (1)
1/4" (M6) Locknut (3)
1/4" (M6) Washer (3)
STEP 1:
Take the tie bar (see below) and
place it on top of the yoke as shown. Ends
will be under the tie rod ends of the axle.
STEP 4:
Insert another shoulder bolt up
through each of the outer mounting holes as
shown.
STEP 2:
Insert one of the three remaining
shoulder bolts up through the yoke and
center hole in the tie bar.
STEP 5:
Tighten all three shoulder bolts
as previously described. DO NOT OVER
TIGHTEN. DOING SO MAY STRIP THE
BOLT OR NUT THREADS. Tighten until
snug.
STEP 6:
Work the steering yoke side-to-
side. Yoke should move freely to easily
turn the cart when cart is fully assembled.
Slightly loosen bolts if needed to improve
steering.
STEP 3:
Verify that the shoulder is through
the yoke and tie bar and add the washer
and nut.
STEP 7:
Return to the angled front axle
brace mounting bolts (see Procedure

completed.
