COMBUSTION ENGINE STARTING PROBLEMS

(PM and PM/TR -models)

Water in a fuel system

•

Cover the combustion engine when raining .

•

Cover the engine carefully during hauling.

•

Any water trapped in the system must be

drained by opening the fuel filter/drain plug.

See figure 1.

•

If there is water in the cylinder, remove the plug,

start the machine, dry the plug and place it back.

Jammed conveyor belt

•

If there is considerable resistance when starting,

fold the conveyor extension part, and the belt

will loosen.

•

Start the combustion engine and let it warm up.

•

Stop the combustion engine and set the con-

veyor on operating position.

NOTE!

The conveyor belt may freeze during winter.

Wrong method for starting

•

See instruction manual section “Combustion en-

gine starting” correct way of starting.
