NetLINE Wireless Broadband Gateway configuration
The default setting for the Local Network Port will work for many users, but it is recommended that you change the Local Network
Port settings to match the DNS information from your ISP as described below. See the complete user guide on the CD-ROM for
detailed configuration instructions and troubleshooting steps.
Configure the Local Network Port
1. Connect to the
Home
screen of the NetLINE Wireless
Broadband Gateway web utility as described in
Client connec-
tion
on page 5 of this guide.
2. Click the
Configure
link on the left side of your screen.
3. Click the
Local Network Port
link on the
Configuration
screen
to open the
Local Network Port
configuration screen
4. The default DNS information (
168.95.192.1
) appears in the
DHCP Server
section in the
DNS (1) (Required)
field. Replace
this default DNS information with the DNS information
from your ISP. It is recommended that you leave the rest of
the IP data on this screen unchanged.
Note: If you do not know your ISP’s
DNS
or
Name server
address
information from your ISP, you can leave the default
DNS number in place.
5. Save the data using the
Save
button, then click
Finished
when
prompted. Click the
Configure
button to return to the
Configuration
screen.
Next, configure your Broadband Network Port as described on
page 7
of this setup guide.
