Quality control
9.9.1 Deformation Limit Control
See Chapter 8.1.5.
9.9.2 Wedge Counter
Since the quality of the bonds also depends on the wear of the bonding tool, the number of bonds can be monitored
with the Wedge Counter. If the specified value is exceeded, a warning is issued.
The Wedge Counter can be reset to <Page><Head Calibration>. Other settings <Max Counter> can also be made in
<Mode> <Head Calibration>.
9.10 Pattern recognition
The pattern recognition software is used to automatically search for adjustment points.
It replaces the manual adjustment via the joystick. Models are taught in the <Learn Chip> which are then used during
processing.
The pattern recognition can be activated in the <Learn Chip> mode. For this purpose < Use Pattern Recognition> is
set. Afterwards two dashed rectangles and several new buttons appear in the live video.
The inner of the two rectangles is the area where the model is taught. This area can be clicked and moved with the
mouse and the size can be changed.
The pen can be used to make a free-hand selection with the mouse,
which can be reset to a rectangular area using
The outer rectangle is the search area in which the model is searched. The size of this rectangle can also be changed
with the mouse.
If you save an adjustment point using <Store Trace>, a model is created in addition to the coordinate.
TIP
The selected area should have contours that are as unambiguous as possible; ideally, this should already
be taken into account when selecting the position.
