3.5.3
File Browser Display
The ‘File Browser’ display (figure 3-7) allows the operator the ability to easily organize the
recorded measurement data files and the saved .pdf files. The operator is allowed to search,
move, copy and delete selected files. The display is split into two (2) sides: internal storage
and external storage. ‘Internal Storage’ shows the directory structure and associated data files
stored within the Falex 430 ETR. If an external USB flash drive is connected to the machine,
the ‘External Storage’ shows the directory structure and associated files stored on that device.

Note: Only files with the .txt and .pdf extension will be shown in the ‘File Browser’.
Also,
selection of multiple files/folders cannot be moved or copied at the same time.
Associate the numeric red box in (figure 3-7) with the numeric description below for
functionality details:
1.
Selecting this icon will open the folder for measurement test data storage (
also selects the
root of the folder
).
2.
Selecting this icon will open the folder for .pdf file storage (
also selects the root of the folder
).
3.
Selecting this icon will open the external USB flash drive root directory.
4.
Once the internal file is selected and external folder is selected, selecting this button will
copy
the internal file(s) to the external storage location.
5.
Once the internal file is selected and external folder is selected, selecting this button will
move
the internal file(s) to the external storage location.
6.
Once the external file is selected and the internal folder is selected, selecting this button will
copy
the external file(s) to the internal storage location.
7.
Once the external file is selected and the internal folder is selected, selecting this button will
move
the external file(s) to the internal storage location.
