16.4 Exchanging the air filter
The air filter (Image 5b) , which is located inside the air filter
compartment (Image 5a) should be exchanged at least once a
month (given a normal operating frequency). In case of
reprocessing the inhalation device for re-use (different
patients!), the air filter must be exchanged immediately (Risk of
infection!).
Please examine the air filter in regular intervals (approx. after
every 10th operation). If the air filter is clogged or dirty (gray or
brown colouring), then it must be exchanged immediately.
The same applies in case the air filter gets damp or wet.
Never operate the device without a filter. The filter
may under no circumstances be cleaned and reused!
Only use original
Nebufirst
®
air filters. Otherwise,
your air compressor may not work correctly and a
satisfactory inhalation therapy can not be
guaranteed.
For exchanging the air filter, please proceed as follows:
Remove the cover from the air filter compartment
(Image 5a) . Then take out the used air filter and replace it with
a new one. Close the air filter compartment, by carefully
pressing the cover back onto the compartment.
